On the salon floor

Mini POS

The counter is not where every sale happens. A client finishing at the chair, a walk-in at the door, a queue at reception on a Saturday — Mini POS puts the till in a stylist's hand, with the same orders, rules and cloud as the counter till.

What it does

The counter till, in one hand

Mini POS is the little sibling of the IMFlow360 counter till: the same booking rules, statuses and order records, with fewer screens, built for a handheld in portrait.

Built for one hand, in portrait

A portrait app for handheld Android terminals. New Sale sits raised in the bottom bar, always a thumb away, and the cart stays pinned while you browse the catalogue — so a sale can be taken at the chair, at the door or at reception.

Signs in like the counter till

The terminal is registered once with the salon account and its device ID — typed in, or scanned from the QR code in the web admin under Settings → Devices. After that, staff open it with their own PIN, checked on the terminal against the same hashed PIN the counter till uses, and the screen locks between users. Only an admin account can register a terminal.

The day is pulled down before it starts

After the first PIN of the day the terminal syncs staff, clients, services, packages and offers, products, today's appointments and tax and receipt settings, one block at a time. If a step fails it shows the server's reason, with Retry or Continue offline. It can be re-run at any time from More.

Today's book, one action per appointment

The Today screen lists the day's appointments, and each shows the one next step its status allows. If your salon takes payment before treatment, a checked-in client with a balance shows only Take Payment — and an order with nothing owing is never blocked. Today and the booking slots follow the branch's own time zone and opening hours.

Sell from the catalogue

Services, packages and products, with a staff member assigned to each line. Long-press a line to change its quantity or price. The order review groups a package's services together, and a swipe removes a line.

Totals worked out the same way every time

Subtotal first, then the best eligible offer on services and packages applied automatically, then any manual discount, then tax, then the tip — which is never taxed. The rule is code with its own tests, not a calculation each screen does for itself.

Payments recorded the way they were taken

Cash, card, JazzCash, Easypaisa or Raast QR — or a split across them — each recorded against the order. Every payment sent up carries the order's whole payment record, including what other tills took, so a deposit at the counter and the balance on the handheld add up on one order.

It keeps working when the signal does not

The catalogue, clients, appointments, sales and each order's payments are held on the terminal and survive a restart with no network. Every sale, booking and new client is saved on the terminal first and queued to send. An offline banner tells staff where they stand, and a sale taken offline is confirmed as saved offline.

Nothing sent twice, nothing dropped

Each queued record carries its own identifier, made on the terminal, so a retry can never duplicate it. A record the server rejects is kept with its reason and retried; one that has failed 25 times is parked — not deleted — and can be retried from the Sync screen.

Clients and bookings from the handheld

Look a client up, add a new one with just a name and mobile number (email is optional), open their profile, and book or reschedule an appointment without walking to the desk.

Close the day on the terminal

An end-of-day Z-report for the terminal, and a sales history to find a past sale, reopen its receipt or refund it. The receipt carries your NTN/STRN and the branch address and phone.

Payments

Every way a client pays, on one order

Each tender is its own line on the order, and a payment from the handheld carries what the counter already took — so a deposit at the desk and the balance at the chair add up.

  • Cash
  • Card
  • JazzCash
  • Easypaisa
  • Raast QR
  • Split

Recorded, not processed: the card and wallet money never passes through IMFlow360.

Offline-first

Saved on the terminal first, sent when it can be

Every sale, booking and new client is written to the terminal and queued with its own identifier, so a retry can never send it twice.

50
records sent per batch
25
attempts, then parked — never deleted
0
duplicates on retry

What it does not do

Worth knowing before a demo rather than after one.

  • Printing is not connected yet. The 58 mm receipt and the service ticket are shown on screen; the terminal's built-in printer is not used.
  • The terminal's card reader and barcode scanner are not connected yet. A card payment taken on your bank's machine is recorded against the order; the money never touches this software.
  • JazzCash, Easypaisa and Raast QR payments are recorded against the order, but the QR code and the payment confirmation are not yet connected to a wallet gateway.
  • Offers apply to the whole service subtotal, and fixed-amount offers are listed but not applied.
  • An order reaches the cloud with one assigned staff member (the first line's), and changing staff when rescheduling is not sent.
  • Branch holidays are not applied to booking, and appointment history on the terminal covers the last 30 days.
  • Android only, in portrait. Registering a terminal needs the internet.
FAQ

Questions people actually ask.

The answers a decision-maker needs before booking a demo.

What is the IMFlow360 Mini POS?

A one-handed, portrait till for handheld Android terminals. It shows today's appointments, sells services, packages and products, takes payment and closes the day, using the same IMFlow360 account, orders and booking rules as the counter till.

Does the Mini POS work without internet?

Yes, once the terminal is registered. Your catalogue, clients, appointments and sales are stored on the terminal, every sale is saved there first and sent up when the connection is back, and nothing is sent twice. Registering a new terminal needs the internet.

Can the Mini POS print receipts?

Not yet. The receipt and service ticket are shown on screen, and printing on the terminal's built-in printer is still to be connected.

Does the Mini POS take card and wallet payments?

It records them. Cash, card, JazzCash, Easypaisa and Raast QR — or a split — are each recorded against the order. It does not process cards itself, and the wallet QR code and confirmation are not yet connected to a payment gateway.

Does it work alongside our counter till?

Yes. Both use the same IMFlow360 account and the same orders, and a payment taken on the handheld carries the order's full payment record — so a deposit taken at the counter and the balance taken on the handheld add up on one order.
